Live duel

TFSA vs RRSP

Which account leaves you with more after tax? Slide your numbers and watch them battle it out.

RRSP WinnerTaxed later at 20.1%
$240,394

RRSP wins by $28,865 after tax. Your tax rate is expected to be lower in retirement, so deferring tax pays off.

Simplified example: 5% yearly growth, approximate Ontario combined rates, RRSP refund reinvested. Ignores benefit clawbacks and contribution room.
